MyDMX 2.0 "Not Responding" Issue - with video

Hi Luis,

I'm the IT Support guy for Ron Webb of Muzik Unlimited. He had an issue with the MyDMX 2.0 software, and wanted me to check it out.

Here are the bullet points:

If the Windows pc is not connected to the internet, the software will hang and spike the CPU.
If the Windows pc is connected to the internet, the software will launch just fine.
The Mac version works fine either way.
I suspect its the same issue that is posted on several places on your message board / forum. I created a quick video to demonstrate the issue.

Please advise us of an update or a fix. This was on a CLEAN INSTALL of Windows 7 with a CLEAN INSTALL of the software.

Ok - I can confirm that simply moving the updater.exe file from the c:\mydmx2 directory will solve the "not responding" issue when there is no internet connection.

Of course, that means that you would need to manually update the software.

Also, I am yet to personally check the full functionality of the software beyond installation and starting the program.
