Controlling the lights in Sync

I have a dj spot 250 and dj scan 250 and im looking for the best way to use dmx to control them and make them do the best they can do.

Totally new to this so I may not even be doing it right. Motor runs, but lights don't come on, on 2 out of 4 units.

LED lights stop lighting. Expensive light that only works for about 400 hours.
